Sorry to hear about that accident. At least you are getting it fix for free. You sure take an advantage during times like this. j/k.

Well I had Progressive(not sure if there's a dif between Pro and Pro Express), but when we had some work done to our minivan from an accident that was my wife's fault, our Progressive agent paid the shop directly. Just an FYI.

And yeah, I suggest you get as much as legally possible. Wouldn't hurt to consult a lawyer if you know one.

This guy deserves to get dragged through a pile of broken glass and dirt. How could you be so stupid to wreck somebodies car leave them stranded and then ignore them and drive off?!
This guy deserves to be in jail for what he did.

So far it is looking like Progressive is going to give me a check, IT SHOULD be around 4 grand. I called Mazda and got price quotes on all the parts that were damaged. Not including the Hood, Paint, Labor, and RAD underbelly the total came to $3,100. So it SHOULD be 4k or maybe a lil more. I'm bringing the car to my body shop of prefference. I'm going 99 front end, apexi side skirts and some mud guards, hopefully an R1 wing as well. Getting my PFC tuned and hopefully have money for a beater. That ****** deserves to get raped and so does progressive for trying to screw me over 4 times now.

At progressive they tried saying my car was goign to be totaled/salvage because "its a 93". When the total damage is higher than the car's value they total it. I told the guy.... Sir this is not a honda or a totoya.... This is a Mazda RX-7 the value is over 10 grand with my top-notch condition. He felt stupid as hell. Anyways so far I'm making out good, let me knwo what you guys think.

Yep, you need to get re-imbursed for installation and painting + blending of these parts as well.

Good luck.

do they really give u extra cash if u dont get a rental if so i will get the extra cash for sure. the insurance company is progressive express
When I was rearended in my blue S5 I got sooooo much **** from the insurance company. Fortunately, my friends dad is a personal injuries lawyer . He talked briefly with the company, and in the end, I recieved $5500 for my car plus $1200 for the inconvience of me not having a car for a week.

2. What a bastard - this has happened to me - hit me run off. It took me three years and court proceedings to get my money back
