Sad night :(

Well coming on the florida turnpike on the way home from sports authority with the girlfriend an idiot who did not properly tie down his construction **** loses all his **** in the middle of the turnpike. lucky me i run over a 50-75 2 foot steel/metal piece of debree and messes up my front bumper, radiator underbelly, punctured a big *** hole in my radiator causing me to lose my coolant and almost over heat which leaves my car not running and my gf and i stranded for 5 hours because the florida highway patrol cannot find their way around their own highway. 2 tow-trucks were unable to tow me so i had to flat-tow the car in an unsafe way causing some more damage to my front bumper.

here is the fucked up part....... when i went to the guy who lost all his **** he ignores me.... runs to his driver seat and takes off right after he straps his stuff on. i pull out my handy dandy nextel and BAM SNAP SHOT! got thel icense plate number call the police again and he gets owned.

the next day i spoke with his insurance and from what i know... i am not having to spend a single penny to repair all the damage. ill be recieving a check plus my front bumper and hood are getting repainted. HANH!

soooooo im in need of:

radiator underbelly
koyo radiator
rear diffuser
small undertray on driver side (its red)
Driver side fog light
Driver side front wheel liner

thats all i can think of right now. yeah some odd parts but im in desprite need. thanks in advance

Your car looks great in the photos in your sig. Is that the stock red color, or a repaint with a different shade? It appears to be a deeper shade of red, but it just may be the way the photos came out.

I suggest you get as much as you can out of this situation. I had a similar situation (not to your degree), but I did lose all of my coolant. I think that is when my coolant seals began to "give out".

So let me ask you about your stock color repaint. How much did you have them repaint? Did they do the door jambs, for instance?

My stock red paint still looks good. If I ever did a repaint, I wouldn't want to lose the stickers in the door jambs and some other original things. How did it work for you? Any problems with overspray? Does the car still look very original, or can you tell it's been resprayed?

i bought the car with it painted already. the door jambs, sunroof jamb, hatch jambs and engine bay was not painted. the paint looks totally original. anyone got any tips on how i can pull more more money out of this one. i have some chips on my hood from rocks that i CAN make look a lil worse so i can also get a hood repainting... what do you guys think. sometimes i look at it and as much as i would hate to do it, i feel like getting a rusty hammer and banging it slightly so it is bondoable, so i can replace it and get some more cash out of that for another hood. im a hustler. well enough of that... what are some ideas to get more money

Well i dont know about your insurance. But my insurance gives you the money, and doesnt give a **** what you do with it. Like for instance i was coming home from thanksgiving and a van ran off the road and hit a guard rail going about 70. He did like 2 front flips and landed and debris(sp?) went EVERYWHERE. The front of my car was all messed up, paint chiped and everything. So i claimed it to insurance and they gave me a check for 800$ for new paint on the hood, bumper, door. Which all had scratches from the debris. They didnt care if i left my car like that and took the 800$ for a new car. I ended up getting rear ended and the car was totalled about 2 weeks later. Then i got 12k plus the $800 i had before since i never got the car fixed. Some insurance companys make you get the car fixed and then pay the shop that did it, you never see the money. And for being a dick and running i would be getting everything i could.

Yeah thats the best "legal" way to get money out of your insurance. They are supposed to pay for whomever you wish to repair it to fix it as long as it is not totally unreasonable. Just get quotes from EVERY body shop and Mazda dealer you can find. Give the insurance a couple of the most expensive ones. Get all the parts from Mazda as they are obviously the most expensive for the actual parts!

Then take the cash, do whatever you want to do yourself and pay for the rest (obv. look for better deals on parts etc.) and spend the rest on more toys for the car!

lol

lol my friend got into an accident in his Grand Prix(its very nice lookin/done up right), some spanish workers stopped on an exit ramp, he ended up braking, and hit their car at 5MPH, theres 0damage to either car(not even a scratch on the Grand Prix), now they are sueing him for 250k for whiplash.

I dont know about you guys, but I work construction, and getting hit at 5mph is like tripping off 1 step of your stairs and landing on your feet.

So 3 weeks later, it happens again, the exit is jammed up, he swerves to the other side of the exit, a Jeep hits him right in the tail, then an Excursion t-bones the Jeep. My friend pulls off to the side of the road about 1-8th mile down the road so as not to block the exit and is calling the cops, then I cop pulls his gun on him and says "Get the **** outta the car"

The cops are calling it a hit and run, when he was the one who got hit?wtf?

So the only Grand Prix in the world which I think was done of tastefully is completely smashed up in the back, he has to pay 28,000 out of his pocket(somehow) to pay for the other cars. On top of that he is getting sued again for 100k for whiplash and medical bills.

I swear to god, jesus hates my friend, he has the worst luck in the world! He also needs to learn how to NOT SPEED during rush hour too. So in conclusion be careful driving><

However I got into an accident 2months ago, I was towing a 10,000lb forklift on a 3000lb trailer, in the rain, going 10mph under the limit, I started braking a good 250feet before a stop light, the front end of my ford explorer lifted off the ground, and I smashed into a KIA,(at around 10mph) the kia is completely totalled(the woman had it for 3days). I felt really bad, but that woman isnt sueing(she had a handicapped sticker up front of her car). I'd like to think I am a great driver, but **** happens. Its also what I get for accepting orders from my boss to tow something that is entirely too much for that vehicle(btw now its suspension is super fucked up). But I was only following orders . But hit and runs are gay ><
