I'll keep my 7, but they do look bad ***, except I don't like the shopping cart handle in the back.

Be careful what you say, m477 has made himself the "dictator" of this topic and will try to bust you for expressing your opinion that he feels in his mind is untrue, even though it's how you honestly see it.

Grow up. You said that they copied the fenders from the TT, and I pointed out that you were wrong.

Everyone, of course, is entitled to their own opinion, and I never said I had a problem with anyone's opinion.

And for your little "who gives a ****" sign, apparently YOU care a great deal, since you've now flamed me twice simply for pointing out that your whole copying statement was incorrect.

buy an rx8 man. its going to be ALOT nicer to have a brand new sports car than to have a modded one frm the early 90's
i'd look at it this way. its NEW and it has a WARRANTY. even if you take it to the dealer and they blow it up, they will give you a new one for free...

The first rendition of the silver 8 is really nice! The second one looks like an eclipse, and the red one should be in Lowrider magazine. PERSONALLY (I said PERSONALLY) I couldn't alter a car far from its original design. Sorry, but it LOOKS bolted on, just like it is. All the sharp edges look horrible on both a 7 and a 8. But this is an opinion. I'm not saying it's not ok to do, just not for me!

I properly maintained somewhat modded FD is going to walk a rx8..sorry. The course would have to be REALLY tight for and rx8 to get close. In the straights the FD would simple pull away from it. Get off the crack pipe...personally I like the rx8, but it's not going to walk a FD...................

The RX-8 may very well be faster through the turns....I really didn't believe it at first, but I'm hearing it from enough different sources that are usually pretty reliable that it may actually be true. But..."walk" an FD???? I don't think so. If it does, then welcome to the national autocross winner's circle for the next few years, because nothing in its class will come close. Hey, I hope its true...but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

my prediction is the 8 will be able to walk a 7 around a handling course. it is just so far more advanced in vehicle dynamics design what it lacks in power it will make up for in cornering ability. i realize this is a big statement considering a 7 can walk most everything already, but with the engine tucked back where it is (check out hte website, theres a picture with the engine cover off, the front of the enghine is well behind the strut tower) and the fuel tank fore of the rear axle this thing is gonna handle like a lotus or a kart.

if you don't like working on cars or aren't willing to learn don't even think about getting a 7. buy a 7 if you want a project car that can sit in the garage if need be, buy an 8 if you want a reliable daily driver that you can kick some *** in right out of the box.

You are on crack. Nowhere in any of my posts did I say it was copied. If you or anyone can find the word copied in any post that I submitted on this subject, you are justified in correcting me, but I did not, so you need to check yourself. I said looks, which is from my view point, the same as Sphinx and Air-Rex stated. Why you chose to single me out is probably a mystery to yourself as well.
As far as "me giving a ****", I don't because my day has not taken a turn for the worst because you can't read and misinterpret stated information.
Grow up? Coming from you, that does not mean much at all. Now go away, leave me alone and have a nice day
