RX8 gear knob, does it light up or not??

RX8 gear ****, does it light up or not??
I've heard mixed stories, my mate has a 5speed gear **** ( in his RX8) and it doesnt light up but I know of someone at the other end of the country who says his does.....? and I'm sure i remember someone on here saying that it does.

You guys are incorrect! There are 5 speed lighted versions
there was a GB awhile back...in Europe there are 5 speed ones that light up...however you cannot order them from japan...JT-imports even tried

IIRC, the 6-speed USDM ***** DO light up, while the 5 speed ones don't
no! There are 5 speed lighted versions

but the post above about a non-lighted 5 speed **** as I stated are incorrect...

my 5spd **** bought from my buds ari and chris at www.rx7.com doesnt light up and i dont give a fig. I love it, and dont need anymore damn wires running in my FD.

I don't know...it gives me something to stare at while I'm driving at night......woooo purty lights
None of the US RX-8's have the lighted shift *****, but it is available overseas.
I seem to recall reports of people getting the ***** and having trouble with the small wires going to the bulbs breaking easily and the light not working. I don't know if it's just mishandling or if the part isn't that well made.
I thought about it for a bit until I saw the price - URK! Nevahmind!

I was the one selling 5sp RX8 shiftknob.
I have sold my extra sets recently and couple of guys were interested in getting them. Unfortunately less than 10 I cant get it below 200. And especially with the horrible exchange rate, its about 10-15% more than before.
Recently, I quoted someone for one shiftknob for $255shipped. Its high!
