a 92 RX-7 for $20k is a bit high.

USDM and JDM FDs are basically the same, unless you're talking about getting a 96-2002, which I believe are illigal in your country.

You can probably import a JDM one for less than a US one, since they had a lot more in Japan and they had later years, the 92-95 don't hold their value as well over there.

Chances are, it might have 400hp, and JDM cars with that much tuning do go for that price, just because they're filled with JDM goodies. JDM FD's are more likely to crap out of you (speaking from personal experience), so if you don't know much about the RX-7, but still really want one, than buy one from the States or one that's already in Canada.

It is not the same car? mechanic = same as the usa?only the steering is in the other side?

In here Canada (quebec) We don't have a lot of Rx7 with the left steering. A lot of ppl buy from japanese shop. I saw some of them couple month after sell it on a web site.

Get a Rx7 from usa = expensive, it must be near canada.

I want to pay for a good rx7 not much than 20k.

They're the same mechanically, but they last time they had a tune up or inspection is another story. You're most likely going to find an RX-7 that was well taken care of from North America. Not saying that all JDM cars ready for import are lemons, there are a few gems out there. If you go cheap and the motor ***** on you, you might be spending up to $20,000 in total plus headaches.

Hey 20 grand is alot for a JDM RX7 plus the paper work alone is another headache on it's own....i currently own a Third gen RX7 and i'm actually thinking about selling it let me know if you're interested it's really clean and has close to 400WHP you're more than welcome to take it for a test drive I do live in Toronto, ON and have unfortunetly parked it up for winter but i have a good street you can take it for a spin on. I'm only considering on selling this because i'm Moving to Dubai if my job offer goes through in January.

And you can have all this for 14grand

My mods
51K on it
Trust TD-06 25g Turbo ($3500)
RE Amemiya Intercooler ($1500)
RE Amemiya Radiator ($1100)
RE Amemiya Oil Catch Can
RE Amemiya Dolphin Tail Exhaust ($1500)
RE Amemiya Short Shifter
RE Amemiya ROM Tuned ECU "REDON" Type C with two boost settings ($1700)
Tial 38mm external wastegate
Exedy Twin Plate Clutch kit
Greddy Type R BOV
Greddy couplers and Intercooler piping
OZ 3 Piece racing wheels 17X9 in rear 17X8 in fronts
R1 RX7 Blistein Shocks
R1 RX7 Dual Oil Coolers
R1 RX7 Front brakes upgrades
99' Front end conversion

I replaced the coolant lines and the spark plugs in it recently flushed out the coolant

system and changed the AST cap because it wasn't holding any pressure the car runs great

The car is pretty quick it's basically the Light Blue RE Amemiya clone "touge monster" I

used the same single turbo upgrade and supporting mods the car puts down around 370 RWHP on

the first boost setting which is 10psi the second setting it puts down 410RWHP it's pretty

fast just let me know if you're interested i'll send you pics if you like

here's a video of it it's pretty crappy cause i used a camera phone.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=WcjbaSALFLk

don't mind my horrible driving it was my first time driving a car with a Twin plate clutch

There's no way that car is making 400hp, unless they pulled the motor and got 400BHP out of an engine dyno.

It has stock twins, looks like a stock IC, stock intake hoses with short intakes, stock y-pipe, stock elbow, I can assume it's a stock radiator, since it uses the stock ducting...

These guys don't seem to know anything about the car, I wouldn't suggest buying a 7 from them at all.

I wouldn't suggest buying this car for $20k.

You can get any FD from the USA completely false.

For 20k you could buy a nice Canadian FD.
The blue car in Montreal I have seen it in person it is disgusting. Shitty FD not worth 10,000$.

Don't go JDM

Alex

(C'est crissment de la grosse marde les JDM juste des chars de vidanges que les Afhgans assaye de faire un profit dessu)

Thanks Alex (merci) It's hard to find a rx7 from here. If I can find one it's around 15k more and they are stock ... that's the problem.
