RX7 Series 7 intake filter

Hey guys,

I'm new on here and I know this is probably the most common question, but I couldnt find any threads that answered my question.

I just got an RX7 series 7 (my first rota, and love it!!) and i'm wondering how you stick pod filters on them. I see you can get adaptor kit things for it but thre like $450!! is there any other way to put them on ok?

Thanks

Hayden

You cant just put them on, the reason it is so expensive is because you need a setup that replaces the stock air box and all the pipes that connect to it...

I have been designing a airbox that utilizes a panel filter (similar to the $900NZ ARC airbox) which also uses the factory mounts and piping.

Hoping to have it lasercut from sheet alu in the next month or so, ill flick you a PM when I've made one for myself so you can check it out (i'm just on paekakariki hill rd - look out for a white 96 with the numberplate [ PIE ])

in the meantime just stick with the factory setup, no point getting a badly installed pod filter setup just for the heck of it.
