Rust between wheel wheel and passenger compartment

I have rust in between the wheel well and the passenger side cabin, it is in the hole where the wire harness runs through. In the schematics, it is very obscure and it looks like it would be part FD01-53-210E (53-210B). Well, below is a picture of the part and it is not said part number. Anyone have any idea what the part would be?

your picture does look like it is of the right part number. it might be helpful if you had a pic of the area in question on the car? i'm not really sure what you're looking for.

I am trying to find the part number for the sheet metal that goes between the passenger side wheel well and cabin. There is a body wire harness that goes through the sheet metal. I suppose I can take a picture when I see my car next.

Just stating the obvious... send Ray an email (HMKParts@aol.com) with the picture and ask him for the part number, cost, and shipping.

How much rust is there that requires this procedure?

Enough that the sheet metal is compromised.

i say 53-400. NLA, it is probably easier to patch that, that wiring harness hole is the same size on every Mazda from like 1980 to the early 2000's.

Did you have a fire? That looks also to be repairable. That part is the fire wall. Find a good body shop and they can patch that in no problem, relatively easy job actually.
