I bought a set of Russell stainless steel brake lines about 1.5 years ago and finally got around to installing them last weekend. The nut ends are too large and do not fit the FD's mounting brackets. They are about 0.5mm too wide and are not rounded on one side. I used a bench grinder to grind down the excess on each nut. It took about one hour to grind down every surface and to round off one corner. A big pain in the *** for something that's supposed to be plug & play.
This is common with aftermarket SS brake lines. Mazda kind of used their own ends with the rounded off sections and it's cheaper for a manufacturer to use off the shelf parts instead of custom parts.
Big concern there is that the fitting is all stainless steel, if it's plated steel it's going to get rusty.
I haven't installed too many SS brake line kits, I'm not sure if there is a truly bolt-on kit to be honest. Maybe someone else knows.

The car is stored for 6-7 months of the year (Canada) and only driven 1000-2000km a summer when it's nice. Rust shouldn't be an issue with this.
