WA Rotary Aviation OMP Adaptor doesnt fit...

Hi all, on my engine I wanted the shop to install the Electronic OMP adaptor from Rotary Aviation so that I could run the external cleaner oil but when they went to do it they found out that it doesnt fit, it actually touches the exhaust manifold for what they told me. They say it is slightly too thick.
I have a single turbo setup with a GT35R and a A-spec manifold (long runner almost sure)
So has anybody had that problem before? Is it a known issue? Is there a way to overcome it or maybe another similar adaptor that can be used instead?
Thank you very much for any help...
Leo

Sell it, leave the OMP stock and supplemental pre-mix. That's the route I took.

Read several methods of adapting it. One involved butchering the plug, another involved clocking the black housing which I found to be impossible because the screw holes are not evenly spaced. I also wanted to avoid altering the pump in case it adversely affected operation.

You could sell the RA kit and just do the DIY method using a thin plate between the OMP and the front cover with a fitting cut into the OMP internal reservoir.

OMP deletion/premix seems to work very well for many high performance guys.

Thanks for the answers. Yeah I understand that OMP deletion and Premix would work fine and does for many high performance engines here but I was trying to get away from having to premix every time I pump gas.
So I was trying to find another option

Don't be sad, my suggested method would still work. See these threads:

Original DIY thread

JHB OMP conversion kit
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/jhb-performance-oil-metering-conversion-kit-808756/

I wouldn't buy the kit as it says in the review (post 12 of 2nd thread), but it does have some useful info.
