RHD complete seatbelt assembly on a LHD?
This is from an Australian company, looks like it’s well made and all black. Want this when I reupholster my tan seats to black, but I’m not sure if these will convert over easily. Does anyone have experience with using RHD made assembly for a LHD vehicle?
Tried searching and couldn’t find anything conclusive.

Just have your seat belts re-done with black belts. Check Pete's build thread -

For the seatbelt or the seat top relay?
By the way, how do you remove one of the seat belt guides without destroying it or the seat?
It seems there is a hidden zipper in the seam of the headrest pass through.
But it also seems you would need to use surgical instruments.

If you are talking about the loop at the top of the seat that holds the seatbelt to the seat, I've done it on my R1 suede seats with no big deal. Unzip the back of the seat and you can reach up in there and get to it.
Leather seats (especially ancient hard leather) may be harder to do, though.
I don't know if those loop things are still available new, they were at one point. I got mine from Japan ages ago.

Goodfella has been selling them for a pretty penny
From what I have seen, the loop is held on by posts that stick through a backing plate. The posts are held in place by slide on friction washers (don't know the proper term). If you simply try to yank the posts out of the backing plate, it seems that likely something else will break first before the washers will let go of the post.
Also, never try to pick up a loose seat by the loop.

Thanks! If you're referring to converting the tan colored buckle receiver that's part of the seats to black, that part might be a little difficult to refinish. Only because of the red moving button part that would need to be masked and such. It certainly can be done, but since it's such a high contact/touch part, you might have long term durability issues with your refinish job. I'm going to keep my seats tan, so I didn't have to worry about it. Worst case you can give refinishing a shot, and if it doesn't hold up long term, just get some used black buckle receivers. The seat belt guides on the headrest should be pretty easy to refinish, but I'm pretty sure those are still available from Mazda.

As Dale says, you do need to partially remove the seat cover to get access and pry the retaining clips off.
