RE:A Fan relay mod
My car came over on the boat with this installed, after doing some digging, I realize its an RE:Amemiya fan mod, but google translate doesn't help much, and my Japanese isn't that great. Does anyone have any idea what this mod actually does?

Not many clues there. But from looking at the picture it's most likely just a simple relay with a switch, you probably wire it in to manually turn on the fans. Considering they keep saying something about AC I think it may tap into that circuit so the fans run all the time like if you have the AC on.
I recognize that switch, that's just a cheap switch I've seen in fog light kits from the 90's. This is nothing special that they have, you could get something of better quality for $20 in parts.
Get an FC fan switch, lower the fan temp in the PowerFC, run a Koyo, and your cooling system will be happy and healthy.

Now that I think about it, I've noticed with that switch "on" the car usually runs at 84 degrees C in daily driving. On a hot day with some spirited driving it may get up to 94. So in actuality I think my car runs pretty cool most times, I'd imagine it has an upgraded radiator if it's running those temps.
