RHD cluster in LHD car?

So, I'm having some problems with my gauge cluster, mostly due to me forgetting the key was on while plugging it in. I was offered a cluster out of a RHD car for a good price, but I was wondering if I could somehow either directly use the RHD cluster or swap things between them to make a cluster work.

Anyone have an idea of compatibility between clusters? Both are from '93.

Thanks!

Ive used 97 cluster on my Blk FD without any issues.. except it will read km/h.

If you do a search, you'll find how to use later 99+ cluster on our 93+ FDs.

Is there any way to change the odometer from KMs to Miles? I'm thinking of swapping the MPH face on as well and then calibrating the speedometer from there (using a Dakota Digital box).

Why not just keep the speedo from your old cluster?

Check Ramy's (FDNewbie) store for the Spec 99 gauge pods, it explains how to get everything to work.

There was something i saw a couple times about someway to get the KPH gauges to read in MPH, but im not sure how it was achieved. I THINK it might have been switching out the gear in the transmission.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I'm not concerned about the speedo readout, just the odometer.

Looks like that site just details the changes made for the wiring in '99. Doesn't mention kph/mph or anything like that.
