how high can a 3rd gen rx-7 rev with no rev limiter without hurting anything, warping stationary gears, blowing apex seals, ect.?

Your accessories will give out before the engine does I'll bet.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, his SPUN at 11K, but he didn't rev it that high from below. It was a mis-down-shift.

It's not quite good for the car As I said in my post earlier, the engine may be able to sustain a 16k redline but not for long, but long before that all the belt driven accessories on the engine would blow out...alternator, airpump, ac, etc.

I wouldn't suggest attempting this at all, but if you want a new engine, then by all means try.

Seriously **** off and go to another forum. You have no clue whatsoever, and no business even driving a RWD RX-7. I wouldn't even let you behind the wheel of a RWD Pinto.

here is an aftermarket stationary gear setup http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/per...tatgearset.htm

but i think there is much more to do if you really want to build your engine to sustain that kind of RPMs.
