Restrictor Pills for actuators + straight pipe.

Hey guys, I apologize if this subject has been brought up before but i have a quick question for you all. While I was changing my vacuum lines on my fd in the past I didnt know there were restrictor pills in the actuators thus throwing them away and receiving a maximum boost of 6lbs on my primary and secondary turbos. I managed to come up with some carburetor jets and shoved them in my vacuum lines and received a max boost of 8lbs primary and 7lbs secondary. Now I want to go straight pipe. My current exhaust is 3in down pipe, high flow cat, and racing beat dual tip cat back, I am on stock ecu as well. I know by going straight pipe on these particular cars will lead to boost creep which will eventually lead to a blown engine. How about if I removed the restrictor pills in the actuators completely and went straight pipe. What would be the results?

Thank You
-Andrew

and by straight pipe i mean removing my high flow cat and throwing a flanged test pipe in replace of it while keeping my dual tip cat back. My air pump recently went out and im just gonna rip it all out.

Without a ported wastegate you will overwhelm the wastegates and boost will creep beyond spring pressure despite a lack of restricters (or carb jets). It's hard to say how high it will creep. You might fuel cut.

Andrew, we can port your wastegate and then you should be okay to run a catless midpipe. Btw if you need one I have one that is resonated.

so i went ahead and had a pipe welded in where my highflow cat was yesterday. however i did not receive much of a boost creep. previously with the cat on i was receiving 8lbs primary and 7lbs secondary with miss matching carb jets shoved into my actuator lines, now i reach MAYBE 10lbs on primary and still 7-8lbs on secondary still with the carb jets in my actuator lines. I noticed the transitions between turbos are like a kick in the chest, some flame action, and its still pretty quiet! im happy with the over all outcomes of this. I just wanted to fill you guys in.

ticking time bomb, roll of the dice etc...better get rid of the stock ECU or put those pills in until you get one.
