requesting link to DIY clutch job!!!!

need to do a clutch job(not my first time) and need a refresher course.
The actual labor is not an issue, i am interested to hear from the people who just recently had theirs clutch job done. What are the things not to over look.

i have the following already purchased and would like to see if i missed any thing from the list of things i will need.
ACT-street kit, even includes the pilot bearing.
ACT -fly wheel
ACT- counter weight.
Mazda OEM reinforced clutch fork.

thanks.
Michael

I did this over the summer myself. I overlooked a few things and it set me back a bit.

Make sure and have the following;

big torque wrench 300+ ft/lbs
smaller torque wrench up to 100 ft/lbs
possibly a torch to heat the flywheel nut
long ratchet extension for getting the bell housing bolts out
pilot bearing puller (Auto Zone rents a "blind hole puller" that worked just fine for me)
fly wheel puller
pilot bearing
pilot bearing seal
clutch release bearing
wedge collar and wire ring (if they aren't included with the pressure plate)
clutch alignment tool
8 power plant frame nuts
1 power plant frame bolt, for connecting to the rear diff
4 cat. converter nuts
2 cat. converter seals
1 air pipe seal
locktite
grease

I also picked up the fly wheel stopper from mazdatrix. Made getting the flywheel off a breeze.

If you plan on draining the oil from the transmission don't forget about plugs and washers.

You may also want to consider changing out the following;

rear main seal
rear stationary gear seal
transmission front seal
transmission rear seal

I also re-torqued the block bolts.

Don't forget to replace the pilot bearing and seal. I did a clutch job in a day with a couple friends helping me wrench a bit. well, it wasn't a "clutch job" but i had to replace my own pilot bearing so it was essentially a clutch job.
