I'm pretty sure the ground is the 10 gauge ground for the pumps. In which case it's good that he sanded the paint down to give it good contact. As long as the crimped connections are good and tight he won't have a problem with them. I usually solder my connections but a good crimp connection is fine. Only the one doing it would know for sure if it will hold.

The relay should be secured, even with some zipties. Wouldn't want it bouncing around back there, definitely make sure you check that nothing can ever short out. A short would be terrible that close to fuel.

i would of loved to solder it, but my father decided to let someone borrow his solder gun, not only that i don't know how to solder wires together, i have seen people solder wires to a circut board but never 2 wires, The relay is in between 2 hoses that make a decent fit so i dont think it will be moving much.... i also added some heat wrap i think its called to the ends of the connects so nothing else should touch and short it as you can see in the picture 1 and 2 when i bring my car to ihor to go single in the future ima ask him to clean it up a bit for me.

For a first try, I think you did well. At least, you have the experience doing it. I agree with the sanding the ground, but I'm an old stereo guy so its a habit for me. As far as solder, thats one of those debate topics. AS LONG AS ITS SECURE, then they both work. The only thing you may could do a bit differently is to make your heat shrink a bit longer, in order to cover the whole connector and a bit of the wire itself. with most of your connections being outside the car, that would protect the ends from the elements. All in All, good job.
