Question What to know about the GReddy 32R intercooler

I've played the game a few times. I want to get the GReddy 32R HG Front Mount Intercooler and although they make it for the FD RX7. What is the hidden fabrication involved with the install. I will be getting a new front bumper; it’s the cutting of the metal that I want to know about. Who’s running it and what was cut or grinded.

You have to trim the front bumper and rebar. Not hard to do.
The install on that intercooler is not difficult but it can be time consuming.
I would look over the instructions on the Greddy website prior to purchase.

If front bumper is fiber glass put tape around the areas you're going to cut, i would recommend using a ziz wheel [i used pneumatic] but doesn't have to be. The tape will help keep the bumper's fiber glass from flaking apart while cutting. Oh and FYI if possible paint bumper AFTER you cut lol.

And remember measure 100 times, cut once.

There is a small piece of metal that needs to get cut in the engine bay on the passenger side where the pipe for the turbo goes by the radiator. I used a dremel to cut this little piece. There is a template with in the instructions.
