What mods do you have?
Stock is 7's leading and 9's trailing
Slightly modded is 9's all around
Heavy modded is 10's or 10.5's

If you don't have a lot of mods what would 9's all around do? Could it cause damage or are you just wasting money? Like is it a better to be safe than sorry situation?...lol

i buy mine at advance auto parts. 7's and 9's and i am quite heavily modded. however, this is the plug set up that i was told to use....should i go with 9's all the way around?

btw, they were 6.69 each....

9's are the cooler plug. You run more mods, you want to have a bit of safety as far as pre-ignition...9's.

Is there any way to test what plug you should have according to your mods? Everyone just seems to guess or get someone else to tell them. I hear 7's and 9's, just 9's, etc, etc...

Look at my sig.

Should I run all 9s? I have 7's and 9's right now. Jason form RX7Store recomended them to me. What does everyone else think? I am replacing them next week as well as my wires with either Magnecore 8mm's, Jacobs Wires, or stock NGK's. Any recomendations there as well?

Exactly. You won't hurt anything running all 9s, but you could hurt something running 7s. Everyone who asked "Look at my mods blah blah blah should I use them I was told this and that," there is your answer.

NGK part number for 9 platinum is BUR9EQP, by the way. They're cheap at Advance, and wherever you go they'll be the "trailing" plugs if they ask.

Yep. Run 9's. Part number BUR9EQ. Trailing plug
BUR9EQP is the platinum trailing plug.

Those of you that got them cheap, check to see if you got the platinum one. BUR9EQP, if they are indeed platinums, you got a good deal.

There's also the NGK racing B10EGV single electrode spark plugs....I won't say which is better, they both get their jobs done.
