I think there something liek 2 little holes on each side. you have to rig a caot hanger or something. stick it in the 4 holes and that realease a tab or something that hold its in.

I may be wrong about how amny holes or how exaclty it releases it, I replaced my head unit a while ago. but I do rember that we had to rig a coat hanger to shove into the holes.
