Removing Air Pump

Noob question.

So, I removed the air pump. What do I do with top and bottom where the airpump hoses used to go. Do I plug bottom and run a filter on top?

You can plug with a rubber table leg cap from home depot. It will stop the mooing sound. There is a thread about it.

If you removed the airpump, the proper thing to do is to remove those hard lines and the ACV altogether. Then use block-off plates:

However, the quick thing to do is to just cap them.

You can also get expanding freeze plugs from NAPA to plug them. Don't have to worry about them coming off and will last as long as you need them to.

Its not necessary to take the whole thing off tho right? plug it for now until i need to take it apart...
