How much bhp could I get on a FD with 22k?

Alright well im a noob to start of so please no hate. (This is an FD model btw)

Alright so I have 50k, i found a decent imported rx7 FD for 8k in my neighbourhood and so if i were to buy it i would have obviously 42k left.. I am going to purchase the veilside kit for 15k and then labor and painting will cost another 5k, so the kit will be 20k total (I know, expensive). so with 22k left I want to throw it all on the engine.

I would want to buy a new 13b engine and install it in my FD and add a turbo for sure, or twin turbo. I know the difference between twins and singles.. but for an rx7 what would be better? If you can recomend me an amazing pair of turbos please send me the link, remember i have 22k to spend.

But basically I want to know if its possible to get at least 500 bhp out of an rx7 with 22k, this includes buying a new 13b motor, installing it and adding turbo, intercooler, cold air intake, and anything els you could recomend.

How much is a good 13b motor? can you send me a link? How much would it cost to install, and how much for a good turbo, and also how much would that cost to install?

Thanks

For that money, you could buy an FD already finished to those approx specs

These are Canadian dollars. After purchasing the vehicle you are looking at 30k+ for what you are trying to do. it adds up quick. You can look fast or you can go fast. If you want the nicest most expensive look then you will start running out of money and cut corners on other things.

I wouldn't even consider sinking tens of thousands of dollars into FD in this failing economy....one word: gold....any investment in mods for an FD will be a 100% negative return investment, you could buy one already nicely modded (if you're patient) for $18-20k

Wish I would have been smarter with money when I was younger, I could have bought an FD 8x over with a few well placed investments

While I'm sure there will be many to disagree with me, I'm going to say it anyway... If you have $50k CAD and you intend to spend every bit of it, you'd be better off in the long run just grabbing a Z06.

and the 20B section:

Please don't cross post. You should seriously spend some time reading the FAQ thread to better educate yourself and research.
