reliability
hi. what is your opinion on the best way to turn a fd into a decent car in terms of reliability. im probably not going to be driving it every day once i go off to college, but its still going to be my only car so i need it to be pretty reliable. i dont want to be popping my motor here and there. should i stick with the rotary and try to go with a more reliable single turbo or something? or should i just go with a ls1? or maybe something else that im not thinking of? also let me get this clear, i dont mean to make this a ls1 vs. rotary thread, things like "taking out the rotary is blasphemy" or "the ls1 is 10x faster" dont matter to me. im asking about the best/cheapest way to go strictly for reliability. thanks for your suggestions.

rebuild ur motor and leave everything stock, change to a bigger radiator. have a minimum conservative boost around 10 psi. m suggestionwill be that get another DD like honda and make ur RX7 ur project car. there's a lot of thread here that gives u ideas on how to tune ur car. regarding about the LS1 swap, you need at least $15K if you want the shop to install it for you. reliabilty wise, LS1 is more reliable and the parts are easy to get. to each his own. u can try pming some of the vets here and they can tell you more about it.
