40,000 kilometers = 26,856 miles
It depends.
Was it taken care of? Does it have the reliability mods done? Has it been tuned and modded properly? Was it made on a Monday or a Friday?
Get a compression check and have it looked over by a rotary mechanic.
That is your best bet.

its running the stock turbos, FMIC, microtech mtx8 ( ithink) and im pretty sure all australian delivered fds like this one came with twin oil coolers too, so i imagine they should help with the longevity of the engine. the car is regularly serviced at one of the local rotary sepcialist mechanics too. i have no doubt the guy wouldve driven the car pretty hard at times, but appears to have looked after it well , and hey, isnt that how these cars are meant to be driven anyway? :-)
