Rear Speaker Brackets?
So ive done the searching and i cant seem to find anything other than buying them off of someone parting out. So my question is is there anyone who makes a rear speaker bracket? I have as 93 rx7 and it came stock with bose in the trunk but no rear speakers behind the seats. I would really like some rear speakers. and also i understand the bracket is for 6x8 is there any bracket for 6x9? thanks for any help

a board member here used to make them and did a run for a short amount of time back a few years ago. If you want stock, it's best to buy a set used from someone, but it's going to be 6x8. I'm sure any good audio shop will be able to fab something up for you if you want to fit 6x9. $$$ is your answer

Not sure if it's the above site, but there were a few options in the interior/exterior section in the past year. I remember there being some FD specific brackets or at least ones that fit. My question is, with the Bose system, can you upgrade the front/rear speakers and keep the Bose base in the rear? Or does that become useless? I'm always confused because of something about different frequency of the Bose system/compatability.
Thanks

This seems like it should be moved to the interior/audio section.
As for Bose systems, they run at a lower(?) frequency than an aftermarket head unit runs at because all speakers have individual amplifiers. To be able to an aftermarket head unit with the factory Bose speakers you need a scosche adapter. I have seen a thread in which someone put an aftermarket speaker in the Bose snake. With a bit of searching in sure you can find it. It seems the best option would be to get the rear speaker brackets and mount up some aftermarket speakers. I'm still debating how I want to tackle this myself.

I have yet to see an aftermarket rear speaker bracket for the FD. The site referenced above only sells the front brackets.
I found my rear speaker brackets in the FS section. Thread had just popped up and I jumped on them.
Just gotta keep looking around. eBay, here, Yahoo Japan...
