Before anyone asks, I did a search. I didn't find this tool and I think it works a lot better than a hammer, torch or PB blaster.



Available all over the place for front hubs. Worked great on my rears, even when the 4lb hammer failed.

It can work sometimes. I had a seized axle and tried that....ended up mushrooming the axle. I'd put a nut on there to prevent that.

In rusty states, I can see having problems. I've always just used a soft-faced dead blow hammer, had it out in a few whacks nice and easy.

It can also be problem in non rusty states.

My non-rusty FD has a left side hub and axle that are inseparable.

Yup I ended up replacing my driver side axle from hammering it to death. Used Hub puller, PB blaster didn't work. Soaked it for about 10 days. Took the axle and hub assembly off the car. Put it on a vise then hammered with nut on. Used a lot of heat and a whole lot of F****#&$^#*@*#&.

That tool doesnt work most of the time the axle just get pushed in. I used harbor freights version of the hub shark it works a lot better.

tried that with my passenger side rear.... it was just making a hole by digging into the nut.. had to stop or else i would of destroyed it

By that time the bearing is probably damaged anyway.
