rear clunking
I'm almost positive it's worn bushings but i want to make sure that's all it could be. When i go to stop, accelerate and hit bumps i'm always hearing noise from the rear suspension, it's nothing horrible like metal grinding. Just a sound that shouldn't be there. Anyone had the same problem or know what it is, and what's a good fix instead of oem replacements? Thanks

same thing happened to me
Pillow joints. had a dealership replace them in the rear and they replace lower suspension arms that were 300 each.Fortunately, I had a warranty cover most of it. Good luck.

I am guessing that its your bushings. I have been going through the same thing with my car too. I just started hearing the rear-end clunking when doing u-turns and I have been hearing major creaking from my suspension.
I am dreading the install process. I hear it's a real P.I.T.A!@## Damnit! And can very expensive to have a shop change them out for you(about an hour of labor PER bushing!)

Mine clunks too but the clunks happen everytime on the road. I've been searching around and came up with either the pillowball bushings or the diff bushings.
I haven't been to the mechanic yet as my car's grounded atm.

take the wheel off and wobble the rear hub, then you can see where the play is. I had a noise i elimated by a rear toe bar not being locked down properly.
Oh, and to remove the pillow ***** you can use a large socket (that the bushing fits inside) and a small socket (that the bushing does not fit it)
use a nut and bolt with washers to make your own press, there is a link in the FAQ to it.

you're damn right i did, but for the price and the condition i just had to make a few concessions, 300 isn't too bad of a hit. luckily i have some extra cash so i can afford to do this crap. how was autox in sac?
