Guys, I have one of these installed and it's a great looking product. The impeller design is much improved so that is all good.

I wouldn't, however, buy one expecting to lower coolant temps on the car. MazMart will tell you (I've had this conversation with Paul) that the RE Medy water pump was design specifically to eliminate cavitation at high RPMs. This is certainly a good thing to have proper flow when you need it. However, as most of us don't push the car that hard all the time, I would not count on lower coolant temps across the board. I wanted too to lower coolant temps and figured this couldn't hurt and it hasn't, it's just not going to be a magic cure all for lowing coolant temps.

Thought I'd throw this out there to help with the conversation. Would I still buy one? Yes, just don't expect way lower normal driving temps.

I purchased one and installed it yesterday. I let the gasket/sealent cure over night and will do some testing today to see how it works out.

What input are you looking for from a thread that's been dead for 6 years and already has 200+ posts in it?

Maybe in that time someone has specific info they can share if you post an actual question.

Been pretty dead for longer than that. Any hindsight, long term results, recent experience, or followup appreciated.

I've had mine on since 2009 and it's still going strong. Is that long enough? lol

I don't have any other info than that because I never knew how to check for cavitation or anything like that. I did remove the AST before that also.
