re-amemiya

Go to www.altavista.com and then look for the "translate" link. Type in the RE Amemiya link (www.re-amemiya.co.jp) and make sure to hit the Japanese to English button. Viola! English. There are various individuals that can import stuff. One of the most reliable however, is www.takakaira.com. You'll pay RE Amemiya web page prices. Some individuals may be able to get better discounts if they're over there (JT Imports?) or Rotary Extreme.
FYI, many of their pieces are on sale right now including body kits. Their AD GT stuff is down considerably as is the N1 Facer, diffuser Pro, etc...Now if the exchange rate would go back up to 130:1, we'd be set!

Be prepared to wait a LONG LONG Time.
I have 2 experiences with them:
#1 Ordered wheels last summer and waited 4 months. Not a word. Cancelled the order - took a bit of a spat with American Express.
#2 Ordered Amemiya body parts through Rx7.com in December.
Haven't arrived yet and no word. From what they tell me, they have long been expecting other product from Amemiya. So that's been about 12 weeks now and no expected delivery.
They have nice stuff, if you can ever get it. It seems like they probably wait on getting a batch of 10 or whatever pre-paid rders before they even start on them. That's the impression I get. You would think for what they charge they'd be more professional.

I've heard the same calling the other shops mentioned here (12 weeks at least) after I canceled my rim order. which is why I finally ordered the Volks.
