RB dual tip- mounting question

just got the exhaust yesterday (from the recent group buy) and i have all the hooks mounted to the rubber hangers but on one side of the actual muffler canister, there is a bracket with two holes for bolts that came with it, where do i mount the bracket? i looked around and don't see anything around the area that would accomodate the two-hole bracket and the two bolts to mount it with.

thanks
kris

oh, and on the instructions that came with it, i believe it is instruction #5:
"Attach the muffler canister to the chassis-mounted retaining strap using the "short" bolts supplied."

what am i not seeing guys? what needs to be done?

there's a stock hanger that's supposed to be there from the stock cat back... Mazda part # N3A1-40-290

if your car had a different cat back it was probably removed

it should look like this when done, Note position of hanger on rt - hanger bolts to chassis up higher.

That hanger came on all FDs, so if you don't have it, someone removed it.

The good news is that it's readily available and not very expensive. Try www.mazdaformance.com or www.parts.com.

Mazdaformance also has .pdf files of most of the subsystems of the car, so you can locate the part numbers for anything that you have missing.
