Do you plan on hitting a dyno or a drag strip or something to see some objective (or at least, semi-objective) scores to see the difference?
Also, it looks like you have the stock airbox (but I wouldn't know -- previous owner had the stock airbox removed in place of the HKS intake) -- does anyone know if such a setup could work with an open intake?

yep, only on non r models.... it covered the hole where a secondary oil cooler sits on an r model
