radiator??

hello! i am about to upgrade my stock radiator and i would like ur opinion...
first does anyone know the capacity that the stock radiator has?

i am between the JVT racing radiator wich says is 3 rows....and the godspeed / haste / asi radiator wich are 2 rows (they are all almost the same)

anyone ever used any of these?

i also got a m series front mount greddy intercooler kit , will this cause trouble on installing the radiator too?

thank u

i also found this on the site:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mishi...7588QQtcZphoto

its a mishimoto electric fan thin, 10" or 12"
it can either pull or push air...
is this something i should get?
one or two of them?
do these have any advantages over the oem ones? they work at 2200rpm it says....

I really like the apexi radiator but there hard to find but if you wanted to one cheapier than that i would recommend a koyo or a fluidyne.

The Fluidyne is a 2-row radiator. Unless you are running the car hard on a road course, a 2-row is more than you'll need. The problem for you will be finding someone who will ship internationally. I would suggect contacting a few retailers and see if they will ship overseas:

Unfortunately, most of the people on this forum are in the USA. So, our exposure to the other brands you listed is extremely low.

i would also suggest the fluidyne. I don't know that I trust any of the other brands that you listed. I'm not familiar with their reputation.

I have a Koyo on my car with a Greddy FMIC and the thickness of the Koyo causes a bit of clearance issues where the IC pipe passes along the radiator on the passenger side. Its manage-able but a pain in the ***. If you let them touch, it will eventually crack the radiator.

Whatever rad you get, try to do some ducting so that the radiator can pull some cooler air from outside the car instead of just recycling the air under the hood. I posted some pics of what I did somewhere on here. Max Cooper also had some great pics in the single turbo section from when he installed his turbo.

On another note, I'm actually in Cyprus right now. Will be in Athens in 2 weeks time.

Come on! Didn't your peeps invent engineering.

I'll be in Athens for 1-2 nights for a christening. Will be travelling around Sparti area mostly.

I'll be in Corfu next week.

I have a V spec core but I think the piping is the same and that is where I had issues. The bracketry Greddy supplies positions the stock rad very well between the ~180 degree bend on the passenger side. The thicker the rad the more it throws things off and you have to get a bit creative bending brackets and positioning things. Its a pain in the *** and you'll be screwing around positioning things for a few hours before you get it right. At least I did....

Its minor but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so that kind of stuff annoy me. Especially since the previous owner's mechanic positioned the piping so it was touching the radiator and eventually cracked it. Pissed me off to no end...

Forget the fans. Stick with the stock ones. The best thing you can do once you get that thing installed is some ducting.

Good luck with your Radiator! I'm replacing mine with Koyo Radiator.
