Racing Beat Wing

Do any fellow FD owners have one of these wings on your bullet. If so, do you like it better than the stock wing? Does the fact that it's a little taller, obstruct your rear view? Do you notice any rear-end instability at near or over 3-digit mph? I'm Planing on getting rid of my stock wing and replacing it with a RBW, so all your comments and/or remarks are appreciated.

If you're talking about the Racing Beat wing that looks like a larger version of the stock one, then I've got that on my car. I'm 5'8" and I have no problems with visibility/obstruction. As for instability, I've only gone up to about 200kms (125mi) and the car felt smooth. However I think it had a lot more to do with my suspension than the wing itself.

I have the Racing Beat type II. You can see it in my signature. It doesn't obstruct the view at all and it bolts right onto the stock wing holes.

Yep....that's the one!. Looks like a stock wing , but on Steroids. I think it's a much better alternative than placing one of those aluminum "fast/furious" type wings. Thanks a bunch to all for all the great input !!. Jim

bricke your car looks badass. Nice and stock looking but the lights and wing go perfect together! I really like the wing do you have any pictures of it from other angles?

since we're discussing your car, bricke, would you mind sharing your opinion of your east bear light kit? does the fact that theres no cover pose any problem? (water seeping in, etc.) and how was the fitment?

Fitment was simple. No cutting or splicing. It took about 20 minutes total to mount them (once the old ones were out). They fit great and have absolutely no gaps what-so-ever.

As far as the rain seeping in goes, I have never noticed a problem. But, my car probably only sees rain 1 or 2 days a year so it's hard to say. But it's never presented a problem thus far.

Looks nice! Good comparison shots as well between stock and RB.
