It's nice to see that they are custom fitted to individual cars and permit semi permanent fore aft adjustment... BUT... I still fail to understand how you can side mount a seat when you can't get your hand between the seat and the center console? If you mount the support to the seat first and then the entire assembly into the car, you can't get to the floor bolts!

Should that prove to be possible... does anyone have viable access to purchasing these? Maybe a GB?

Never mount a seat, but I'm sure it's possible to do it.

As far as getting it, I'm working on it. But it's not cheap. It's about $250 US not included shipping. But the bracket is custom fit to person's height. There is three size to choose from. They can also be custom make too.

From Bride's site: Fitment Guide

RX-7 SA22C '78/3`'85/9 R035SL R038SO R035VL R038VO 4WD
FC3S '85/9`'91/9 R035SL R036SO R035VL R036VO @
FD3S '91/10` R039SO R040SO R039VO R040VO @

All 3 gens are available. The only question is whether Bride buckets have widths and mounting holes that are similar to Sparco/Recaro/Momo/etc.

What you have listed is a nice side mount bracket that is designed to lower the seat (mo' headroom + lower CG). It has some fore/aft adjustability to boot but it's much closer to a fixed mount.

It's a fixed mount. Also it close to impossible to get a Bride seat here. Let alone the Bride seat are expensive. The side mount I show should work with all seats.

Do you Neo Omega or Hedgehog have any experience with (or connection for) purchasing from Japan directly? Maybe I should just try to call and see if I can get someone to speak English.

I kind of like the ones you have suggested, neo omega... because I can use all the headroom I can get (6'-4"). The slider ones Hedgehog has shown us would be a more liveable option for those under 6 feet tall.

I need to leg room too. I'm 6'2" myself. I will go with the bracket I shown.

But don't waste your time call there. You will never find one speak english. I'm trying to cotact someone in Japan to get it for me. Will see what happen.
