R1 Chin spoiler

Hi,

Has anyone painted there factory R1 Chin spoiler? I would like to paint mine and am wondering what primers and flex agents are required for a durable finish.

Thanks,

while we're on the subject, does anyone know where i can get the stock front end (R2 or not), other than Mazda? I had to discard my original front end bc of a soccer mom, and would like to have a spare one, just in case i wanna go back to the stock front end. TIA

I painted my R1 chin spoiler. Even if you sand/primer/paint it, it'll still scrape off when you go hit curves and other steep ****. But it's simple to repaint so just do it over once it starts looking bad. You can colormatch your paint so it look like a factory shop paint. Go to www.paintscratch.com and just fill in the boxes and it'll match it up for you.

The R1 spoiler is about $220 unless you have a business license. Other than that MazdaMotorsports would be cheapest followed by CorkSport.
