I actually think the flashing arrows are better if they flash yellow. Previous was a green light and for many green = go

It really should be flashing red tho. You are actually allowed to proceed on a flashing red (straight or turn) after you come to a COMPLETE stop. Anything else (other than a solid red), you just have to yield.

That said, if you're not paying attention, the color and whether it's flashing probably doesn't matter
