yes the stock radiator DOES have an Oring, check whatever it was you drained your fluids into, could be in there, or on the floor somewhere, could even still be on the bung or even hiding up in the hole where the bung goes.

The ABS plastic drain plug expands (when hot) at a rate that ensures there are no leaks through the threads. A metal plug would not only need the exact same expansion rate (more difficult than you think) but it would also be subject to seizing due to corrosion over time...and a plastic plug is a lot cheaper to make.

yeah positive
when I did my radiator relocation ( for my IC) i had to drain the fluid and in the process my radiator plug desintergrated but I was left with the rubber 0 ring. I got another new plug and it also came with an o-ring. so unless I have been a part of some great O-ring conspiricy I would have to say the evidence points towards " yes" there should be an 0-ring

Would you rather strip the threads on the radiator or the threads on the plug?

Confirm, since I was looking at it yesterday. The drain plug hole does have an o-ring.

If you're in a pinch and don't have the plastic plug a short M10x1.5 bolt seems to fit (you still need the o-ring)
