quick question.underhood lining important at all?

Took my Hoodliner off about 5 to 7 years ago.
Can't really notice engine noise, with a DP/MP/CB.
Have absolutely no(noticible) effect on paint on hood.
Personally I like the look of the underhood skeleton, than
the liner.

Believe me.. there are so much other things to worry about
than the hoodliner..

oh yea one benefit of not having a hood liner: You have many other differnent
spots to put the hood rod. I use different holes in the hood skelton to
keep my hood open. LIke 6 inches from closing all the way to stock rod spot.

That's funny, I have a hood liner and I still have several spots to put the hood rod....
