Quick Engine swap Questions

I recently purchased a JDM 13b-REW to replace my popped one in my FD

it comes complete wiring, ecu, tranny and motor

but it's an Auto...

so yea to the point, to fit it on my car

i just pop off the tranny, remove the auto flywheel and countweight, and stick my manual's FW on there?

and remove the extra vacuume tank on the engine for the AT?

is there any other differences? like lower boost to save the tranny etc..

are they any advantages to running it on the JDM ecu? or should i just leave it on my stock wiring...

i have an RB aluminum LightWeight Flywheel with counterweight.. i was intending on putting on my FC TII... but the engine needs a rebuild, so that wont be happening anytime soon, any idea if it will fit on the REW? or is the pressure plate mounting holes diff?

is there anything else I should do while the engine is still on the floor?

the ECU for manuals and automatics are different... you HAVE to use the wiring and ECU that came with your JDM - problem is that the Japanese ECU will be tuned with an eye towards 100 octane fuels. if you're in the US, the octane sucks and i'm not sure how that will go.

to put it in, as you say, flywheel and vacuum tanks - the ECU when plugged up correctly will look after basically everything else.

if youre using a manual tranny, you have to use your other fd wiring harness.

sorry, i've mixed myself up again.
audiobot7 is right, i meant you have to use a manual ECU with a manual box and vice versa... if you engine is auto, and you want to put it on a manual box, use the manual ECU!
