quick clutch line question...

This may be a dumb question....

But does the ORC clutch line from RHDJapan go all the way from the master cylinder to the slave?

or does it just replace the rubber line going from the master to the hard line on the slave?

If not, then where can i buy a clutch line that does?

116 bucks better replace the whole thing!

here's the link:

Thanks.

I'm not really sure how long it is, but I would just get the RX-7 Store SS Clutch Line. It doesn't make sense to pay $116 for a clutch line like that when you can get one at the RX-7 Store for $28 or elsewhere for a comparable price. http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/clutchlinefd.htm

It just replaces the rubber line. Just get a cheap one like ObliqueFD suggested. Its the same thing.

Alright, thats what i was thinking. And i will get the cheaper one.

But is there such a line that replaces the whole thing? I mean why just replace the rubber portion?

Well the only reason you want to replace it in the first place is to get rid of the expanding rubber line for a firmer clutch feel. You mostly only notice it with hardcore clutch's. The hard line is already hard, so why replace it lol. Same idea when you replace your brake lines, do you replace the hard lines too?

Alright you got a good point....

and i have an act 6 puck with heavy duty pressure plate, so hopefully i will notice. My clutch went out so i bought a new slave and master....hints the new line.

i guess the only reason i would want it to go all the way is for a cleaner look, and more maneuverability.

Either way it will work fine.

Can you definitely tell a change in feel?

Well the reason I got mine was because I noticed with my new Bully Stage 5 clutch that the disengage point was a lot lower on the pedal and felt odd. I have installed the clutch line but haven't driven the car since its in storage for the winter. I'm hoping it does make it better but from what I read it only makes a noticeable difference on the heavy clutches.
