Questions for those with rebuilds

I am looking into getting a rebuild in the next few months. I am most likely gonna have rebuild done by Lowe Automotive (local rotary mech). My question is who needed and didn't need new rotor housings when they had engine rebuilt? What mileage did you have on engine when you rebuilt? I am hopeing that I will not need new housings. If it looks like from this survey I have a good chance of needing new housings I will just get a reman and have it streetported. I have about 89k on my engine with good compression, but want to rebuild before a seal goes.

o ring failed at 68,237 miles
Rotors and rotor housings were reusable in almost perfect condition
it depends on if your motor has been overheated constantly and has many many miles on it or if you have had just one major overheat. At 89k if your motor is still running fine I would think that you could rebuild your motor using your rotors and housings. Why not just wait untill it goes who wants to waste the money if the motor is fine? Since the compression is good that means the seals are okay have a pressure check on the coolant system to see if the o rings are okay and then leave it. I think people with well over 100k have been able to reuse their motor parts if it has been pretty well maintained they don't seem to warp or wear out as quick.

I blew both rotors so I got a remain. The remain came with two new housing and a new rear rotor. I had it streetported, seals upgraded, oil and coolant channels enlarged, Ecentric shaft mod, etc. Cost me 3500 total.
I had 82K on mine.

The reason I plan to rebuild sooner than when the motor lets go is because I am gettin a gt3540. I don't want to put the new turbo on and have the engine let go possible causing damage to turbo.

I was looking at all the turbo upgrades and they are all rated for 15psi and can put out about 450-475 rwhp at that boost
The one you are getting just says it is capable of 700 hp
is that to the wheels and at what psi?
