Questions about bonnet wire and misc. Advices required.

So my bonnet wire failed. Got a new set from Mazda and started to fix it this morning.

1. Is the bonnet wire suppose to be relayed through the engine bay? I.e. from underneath the cluster -> underneath the power steering oil (I think) tank --> beneath the intake. (mine's RHD). Isn't the wire suppose to go through the fender (in my case right front fender) like other cars?

2. During the process, i broke one of the pin that holds the wire to the chasis. It's a pin that prevents the cable from dangling in the engine bay. Can I find this pin from the dealer ya reckon? Or is it safe if I leave it dangling? After I inspected it, it's not in the area where it would get to the timing belt/fan/ any moving parts.
I have posted an example of the pin on the bottom of this thread.

3. Currently I'm using Knightsports front (series 6 version) bar. It was already on the car when I bought it. After I took the front bar off, I realize that my car doesn't have the reinforcement bar anymore (that foamy thing). Instead, the front bar's hold with some 8-10 screws. Is it ok if I'm not using the reinforcement bar?

My apologize if I'm not using proper mechanical vocabs. I'm just a noob needing your help

Much appreciated
