Power steering cooler

I was wondering if the factory power steering cooler is required to road race the fd. I me can i just take it off and loop the ps. I had to drop my koyo radiator and I also droped the ac condensor in a V shape. So the air go mostly straight into the radiator, but i also had to reloacated ps cooler and now my under tray wont fit. I can get it to fit with the cooelr but was wondering if its necessary.

Just convert to manual steering... and either loop it or replace the rack. I think if you keep the PS, you need to keep the cooling loop.

I installed an inline power steering cooler and got rid of the stock loop. It works perfect. In my sig is a link to some pictures, on one of the pages I have the part number listed for the cooler.

I actually followed Agentspeed's footsteps on this with my V-mount and it works perfect. Mounting is pretty simple too with some long bolts from the hardware store...
