Very quick question for those of you who have these on your car (or lying around somewhere)


Does it have the word "GReddy" across the top of it?



I took my car in to a shop and they noticed mine DOES NOT say 'greddy' on top, however i purchased mine from rx7store, and the mechanic wasn't familiar with the m-spec version...perhaps it doesn't have that writing on top...

if not, then the shop who installed my FMIC did a switcheroo and i will have to SUE.

 

Greddy does not make the M spec anymore. I forget if the orginals said Greddy on the top or not.

not saying rx7store ripped me off, i know thats not the case. the SHOP though, mightve taken my greddy and switched in a nobrand one.

Jason, did you EVER offer the original Mspec from greddy? i purchased it in early May from the rx7store and i remember it said GReddy on the box...

 

Which shop installed your Front Mount?

 

I highly doubt that a shop would steal your core, the Greddy IC has a few characteristics that are not easy to duplicate. Look at the inlet and outlet, they are not at the same angles, someone would have to go through a lot of trouble to switch it on you.....Below are pics from an install we did a year or so ago



Has the piping been modified?



Just found another M-spec install that we did recently this one you can just make out the Greddy logo on the top

 

One way to tell if its a real Greddy is did it come in a Greddy box. The replica comes in just a brown box with no markings.
I did carry the original M spec from Greddy but it was discontinued probably 3-4 months ago. The replica is identical to the Greddy

 

Mine said Greddy on the top of it. I had the V-SPL kit (very similar, if not identical to the M-spec). However, I bought mine several years ago.

 

Mine does have Greedy stamped on the top of it.

 

i have the m-spec, it allso has the logo stamped on top

 

i also have it and im goona second that it does, in fact, say greddy across the top
