Question about working sequential turbos
Here's a question for those of you with properly functioning stock sequential turbos. When you get on the throttle at fairly low RPM (so that you'll only be boosting with the primary initially) and you watch the boost gauge, does it start in the vacuum section and move smoothly up to 10 psi or so, or does it start in vacuum, move up and pause at around 0-3 psi before moving back up to 10 psi?
I'm currently trying to diagnose an intermittent max primary boost of 0-3 psi and I've noticed that, even in the cases where it works properly, I get this pause in the building of boost. This point seems to coincide with the point where I don't get any more boost when the problem is present, but I can't remember if its normal or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's the way I remembered it too, cool. So whatever is giving me the pause, is probably the same thing that is some of the time turning that pause into a full stop resulting in no significant boost. Just gotta figure out WHAT...
