just from the specs, I bet that thing hauls ***. I thought I had the most heavily modded auto. You should test drive it to see what you think before you convert it.

oh yeah and the stock auto is 3.9, 5 speed is 4.10 so the 4.33 is an upgrade for both.

is the 4.33 a more high way gear or a acceleration gear? also what about the eco, will i need to change that even though it's running a pfc?

I think this topic has been beaten to death but here goes anyways. The 4.33 gears are the gears if you want to accelerate quickly. However, the 3.9 gears are used if you want to go for top speed on the highway. (I think that's right)

If you are going to convert it to manual, you don't need a manual ECU if you already have the PFC.

That auto tranny doesn't sound like a stocker. No way the stock tranny could handle all that. I'm guessing he paid big bucks for it, otherwise he would've switched to the 5 speed long ago. I probably wouldn't swap that thing out.

if you are really dead set to convert a car I would not buy that one. There are plenty of good shape autos for sale cheap-and that one should not be cheap. a swap is going to run you $1K (yo do all the work and use all used parts) to $4K (someone else does all the work and you use new or newly rebuilt parts).
