PM "RTS3GEN".

He's been beating the crap out of a Pettit Racing engine for over 5 years and still no problems (many road racing events every year, drags and normal street driving).

The best thing to do is to talk to each rebuilder you are thinking of using. Tell them what you want to do with your car and see what they recommend.

Just ordered a stage 2 from RX7 store with aviation apex seals, and heavy duty water seals. Will let you all know in a year or two. haha

Hi,

I went with a Pettit ported and 3 mm seals. Just took it out for the Pettit 20B conversion. Had it for about 1 1/2 years and the engine was fantastic. If you are looking for high boost, you could have them dowel pin the engine for extra strength.

PM me for my telephone number if you'd like.

David
