Question About 99'+ Rear Emblems

The "Mazda" and "RX-7" rear emblems are missing on my car. Mostly what bothers me is the missing Mazda emblem, because it left holes in my bumper. I'm thinking of getting the updated 99+ ones, seen here: http://pages.videotron.com/ebedard/r...ea_zoomrx7.jpg

My question is, will these fit fine on the 93-95 bumpers? Does the 99+ "Mazda" emblem come with pins in the same location as the 93-95 emblem, or will it at least cover up the holes perfectly? I just don't want to buy them and then find that there is no way to place it without one or more holes still showing.

Thanks.

If you're talking about the flying M, then yes, the pins match. i installed them. I'm not sure about the "Mazda" emblem though.

I never installed the front, I just placed it on the car, if you want it, PM me.

I already have the Flyin' M's and I know those fit. I'm talking about the new style "Mazda" emblem as I mentioned in my post. It would also be good to know whether the new style "RX-7" emblem has pins, since there are no holes for them on the 93-95 bumper. It looks like neither of them have pins, but I'd like to know if it will cover up the holes.

These are what I'm talking about: https://www.rhdjapan.com/home/produc...roduct_id=1156

That is why 3M invented double sided sticky tape.

Come on, I know someone has used these emblems on their 93-95 bumper... Can anyone answer my question?

I think both emblems (RX-7 & MAZDA) on rhdjapan are stick-ons. I bought a used jdm rear bumper and removed both emblems with fishing line. When I tried removing "MAZDA" on my usdm bumper, the fishing line kept breaking. I found out it mounts with two pins and is slightly different. The "RX-7" is the same stick-on on both jdm and usdm bumpers.

If you want to get the exact stock placement, use paper to trace the emblems along with the top edge of the bumper as a guide before removing emblems.

BTW, I don't feel it's worth replacing the emblems as they're the same(RX-7) or very similar(MAZDA). Unless you want the Efini emblem (click link ). Just update to the Flying M logo, that's what I'm doing. [edit: Ignore above - I just noticed you're MISSING the emblems]

x2 on that double sided tape idea but that's only if all else fails.

Okay, so now the question is whether the updated "Mazda" emblem will cover up the pin holes.

Maybe I'll just buy the original 93-95 mazda emblem, which has the pins.
