pwr rad

in a dilemma of which rad to order now. Either the PWR rad or the fluidyne. rx7 store says that the pwr flows better. but i havent talked to anyone that has that one. also whats everyone saying about the pettit intakes? the heat shield looks cool. i dont know about everyone else but my hks filters are hot as hell after a good run. feedback appreciated.

The PWR and Fluidyne are identical except the PWR has a better polish to it. I use the PWR in my car and like it, but both will do the job.

A few people have said they they are a direct drop in, but this wasn't the case for me. I had to file down quite a bit of metal on my stock brackets (the top ones) in order for it to fit in.

I put a PWR in my FD about 8 months ago and it was NOT a direct replacement. I had to modify the brackets - not really that big of deal, but it did not just drop in. It looks good and does a really good job though.

i have the pettit intake and save yourself some money and skip it. what are they asking these days $350? the heatshield does next to nothing, you're guaranteed to be suckin in all million degree engine bay air. the box intakes aren't much more and i think its worth it.
