purchasing a bov
purchasing a bov
I am looking to get aftermarket BOV for my stock twins, preferrably HKS SSQ or Tial. Now I was wondering if I had to purchase 2, cause some pics I have seen from other members appears to be only 1. I should be getting my Greddy FMIC w/ greddy elbow and 2 piece pipes and koyo radiator next week, so I have some time to dig around my motor.
BTW, is there a thread somewhere that gives instructions on how to install a BOV

I guess you fix the overheating issue. But the stock BOV is good for at least 15 psi so I don't see why you want to waste your money on that. Also if you do some reading you will know how many BOV you need.

to the poster..dont waste money on a bov unless you want it for cosmetics or sound cause your stock bov is good enough..but if you honestly have to, you only need 1 and if you want a loud sound, get the turboxs RFL..i have it and its def noticeable..

If you are trying to install an aftermarket BOV would you replace the stock BOV located on the front turbo or rear?
Do you keep the stocker on whichever is left? If so, do you you recirculate it into the LIM line located a little above it, or can/should you have it atmospheric?
The aftermarket intake setup I have doesn't allow for me to plug that line, and the air pump lines into it.
Any thoughts?
