Pulling off the downpipe
Ok I haven't done it myself before but I'm going to this time. I heard it's a pain but oh well. Now the car's already in the air and ready to go. It has a 3" dp that needs to come off.
The 2 bottom 11mm nuts are easy to reach from under the car.
The top right 14mm nut (closer to front of car) is ready to come off.
Now the top left nut (closest to the firewall) is that also a 14mm? It's a pain in the *** to reach from above. Any suggestions? Is it easier to get to from the top or from underneath? Anything else I'd really need remove in order to reach it? I only pulled the BOVs and intake pipes not the Y-pipe.
I've got plenty of tools, sockets, extensions, etc. so please let me know what's up. The car's sold tomorrow and I get to keep the whole exhaust so I think it's in my best interest $$$. Thanks.

Top rear nut should be 14mm. In fact, all 4 nuts should be 14mm.
TIP: take the Y-Pipe off the Turbos and you'll have complete access to the DP nuts/studs.

Not hard at all. 2-10mm nuts per Turbo attach the Y-Pipe. Just make sure you connect the CRV hose and all other (total of 4 I think?) vacuum hoses in there respective location when you re-install the Y-Pipe.

i took my air pump off (really easy to take off and put on)
when you take the ap off you can see the studs/nuts by looking straight on. it made lining up the socket easy.
also taking off the heat shield for the abs makes things a lot easier!!!

UPDATE: My hands are frozen and I can't feel anything so I'm gonna wait till the morning to finish. But anyway I did end up loosening that top left bolt from the top w/ a 90 degree adapter thingy. Then it easily came off by hand. I got the top front and bottom front as well. The bottom back is another pain. it just takes time, i got it about half way out.
i didn't end up taking off the y-pipe after all. i only took off the pipe that goes into the rear turbo then i had more room to work with. i'll get back to everyone in the morning. Thanks again guys.
